About Khaled Rabeh

Khaled holds a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering and has been working in the humanitarian sector for over 13 years. He is an active member of the Syrian Arab Red Crescent, responding to the crisis in Syria since its onset and has played various roles with different teams such as relief, shelter, and WASH. This included cross-line missions and humanitarian convoys. Currently, he works as a Capacity Building Supervisor & SARC sub-branches Coordinator at the headquarters of the Syrian Arab Red Crescent.

Since 2020, Khaled has been working with IFRC RO-MENA as a Disaster Risk Management Senior Officer, supporting 17 National Societies in the MENA region in DRM.

Khaled has been a disaster management trainer since 2016 and a WASH trainer since 2015. He has been a focal point for Sphere in Syria since 2019 and has worked on translating the Sphere training package from English into Arabic.

He has facilitated many training courses and workshops in Syria, and also many training courses and workshops with IFRC as a co-facilitator in the MENA region in different locations.
