About Shaza Bashar Massarani

I have been a Sphere Trainer since 2014 and a Q&A Trainer since 2019. I have successfully trained over 2,000 humanitarian workers from NGOs and INGOs in Syria and Lebanon on the Sphere Standards and Sphere Training of Trainers (TOT). I have conducted more than 20 training sessions and workshops, both in-person and online, fostering a deep understanding of humanitarian principles among participants.

In addition to my technical expertise, With over five years of progressive experience in Monitoring, Evaluation, Accountability, and Learning (MEAL), I have developed a robust skill set in data management and information systems. My expertise includes planning and conducting surveys, utilizing a comprehensive suite of Microsoft Office tools—especially Excel—for data analysis and visualization. I am also proficient in platforms like Power BI and have a strong background in developing, deploying, and maintaining survey questionnaires on mobile applications such as Kobo, ODK, Google Docs, and SurveyMonkey.

I am known for my energetic and self-motivated approach, thriving in team environments while consistently delivering assignments on time and within budget. My experience as a Coordinator in non-profit organization management has equipped me with strong skills in problem analysis, field coordination, disaster response, team building, training, and public speaking.

I am dedicated to leveraging my skills to drive impactful outcomes, enhance capacity building, and foster collaborative success in the humanitarian sector.
