About Asli Marasli Wojciechowski

Aslı began her humanitarian career in 2017 with Concern Worldwide, contributing to an education project in Sanliurfa, Türkiye. She then spent a year volunteering in Poland, supporting youth in rural communities. Upon returning to Türkiye, she joined a mine risk reduction and clearance project funded by The HALO Trust, implemented by IMFAD, where she provided operational support to project teams.
In 2021, Aslı joined the International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies (IFRC), contributing to the world’s largest humanitarian cash assistance initiative—the Emergency Social Safety Net (ESSN) Programme. She worked in Learning and Capacity Support team until the programme concluded in December 2023.
Following the ESSN closure, she was seconded to the Turkish Red Crescent’s (TRC) International Relations team, where she coordinated the Sphere Türkiye Project. In this role, she led the planning and facilitation of Sphere trainings, ensured extensive dissemination of Sphere standards within the organization, and managed national and global visibility efforts in coordination with TRC, IFRC, and the Sphere Secretariat. From February 2024 to February 2025, she closely worked with all three organizations and ensured completion of the Sphere Türkiye Project successfully.
In February 2025, Aslı returned to the IFRC Türkiye team as a Senior Learning Officer, focusing on organizational learning and capacity support, primarily through coordination of learning activities within the FCDO-funded STRIVE Project. In addition to this role, she contributes to IFRC’s proposal writing efforts for securing new funding in development-focused programming in livelihoods.
Driven by a passion for humanitarian learning and capacity development, Aslı aspires to become a full-time trainer, committed to empowering others through knowledge and capacity-building.
