Lama has been working in the humanitarian sector for more than fifteen years. She is an active member of the Syrian Arab Red Crescent and played several roles with different teams such as The social by caring for the elderly and people with special needs, and orphanages, relief, psychological support, shelter, first aid, evacuation and reports preparation . Currently she works as Logistic of the Syrian Arab Red Crescent. Lama has been involved in the response to the crisis in Syria since 2011. She is a Sphere trainer since 2017, and a listed Sphere trainer since 2020
